The T-AMp Project. Bi-Amping

After so many years in HiFi world,I will be taking the path to bi-amping. I made such a decision as the project made it 'affordable' and I have a pair of a very good quality speaker cables in hand. BTW, bi-amping is having separate amplifiers to drive (separately), the woofers and tweeters.. Major improvements to the final audio quality.. Let's hope so! Hehe..

Shown here is the back panel of my T-Amp casing, clearly showing the 8 speaker binding posts!

The normal red/black will be configured to drive the woofers, while the green/blue ones will be connected to the tweeters.

If you biamping 2 amp how does the input connected from the source to each amplifier? 2 set of L/R to 1 set of L/R for the amp.

And how do you connect the output here?

quite confusing....

gabanyayaya,
the input will be paralleled.
ie common 1 set of input to both amplifier inputs..

you mean combine L/R input for amp 1 into 1 input, and combine L/R input fron other amp into 1 input...so there's L and R input....betul ke.....

If this is true how to solder the rca? Can you teach me this.

The amp inputs will be sharing the same side inputs, ie all the L channel will be connected together. Similar to R Channel.. sorry la bra, maleh nak draw diagram.. letih buka posa nie.. hehe.

Meaning both the amps inputs will be paralleled as earlier mentioned.

letih buka posa.....??? bukan letih posa ke hehehe

ok I understand now....each rca L/R connects to input L/R each from 2 amplifier.....ok thank you

your amp is soon to be ready...how's my amp...? Any news?

great! :D
Your amp? I've got tired la waiting for my friend to comeback with the panels.. I'll fit it in a dedcent casing for you lah. When the required casing is ready then I'll replace the casing proper.. at least you boleh dengar by raya time. Do you need to change anything now that the T-Amp is around? GainClone?
