Finally, I have finished the earlier mentioned pre-amp. More like
a prototype here. Built a casing for it from what I had in the 'store'..
Will need to improve on this. It's a passive preamp anyway ;)

Passive preamp should NOT contribute anything to the signal path.. :D
jazzy bro....can u help me....how to hook up a sub woofer to an integrated stereo amp.....like detnator or any hifi integrated amps....

depends on the subwoofer input.
some have dedicated subwoofer(single RCA input)
some have high level input form speaker out connections from the amp.Mine have combinations, so depends what is available from your amp also. Have to see first la.. got pix ah?

Have seen the schematic. EASY.
Either you use a spare TAPE OUT from you amp connected to your sub LINE IN or use a spare(remote) speaker OUT to the sub's SPEAKER IN. Can your amp drive 2 sets of speakers?
For good sonics, I'll advise you to use the RCA's input.
yes my amp can drive 2 speakers....but how's the connection???
ok so i have to use tape out connect to subwoofer level in using rca AND turn on the recording knob to tape rite....?
so how about detonator? can it support subwoofer too?

If you have a 'recording' knob on your amp,yes, set it to what ever source you are playing. This is only applicable if your amp allow you to listen to a source while recording from another source.
The Det' can be made to suit.. no big deal :D

I doubt it if I can get the above. I can get IEC male plug alright, but Schurter? Not in Jalan Pasar!

jazzy...yes that mission speaker is mine and i'm selling it since it blocking my way in my tiny room....
ofcorse you can't find it in JP...if you can't then i probably have to go to farnell my self to get these stuffs on the counter just like you said. BNC Male to RCA Female converter can get la in JP. That is a common item. Is just that I need to find the real 75omh type. Maybe you could get some since JP is your play ground...
Why MK plug red hospital grade???? Well most people said this plug is much better that normal one for quality even though I still don't get it....:> (bias...bias)

As far as JP goes...
there are cheap ones and there are better ones, it's a matter of how much you want to pay. Meaning there are RM1 3 pin plug and of course RM12 pun ada!
I have bought a few IEC(plug and socket, for the Det'nator and d'Bomb of course!) from the cheapest to slightly 'better ones'.. I think it's a matter of how much you wanna pay for it.
Yes, some people can detect sonically the difference between cables, plugs and what nots. Thank got I have NOT reached that level yet! However, good quality plugs should complimenthi grade/quality devices.. ;)
what kinda expensive plug is that? any brand????. is it some kinda imitation of american plug? quality???
oh by the way is it really easy to push up the detnator from 40W to some where like 60-90W? My speaker rated at 91dB. But actually by measurements its only at 90.8dB. This will give a slide differences.

Why do you need up to 90W? You play disco music?
Your speaker is rated in the high efficiency category, as such you don't need that high power. Jangan la jadi macam MDZ! I am happily driving my TLD with the D'Bomb at 9o'clock level of the volume control.. infact a 20 watter can happily drive your speaker already.
Madziz already sold every thing la except that Atol. Guess he have that and the TT la. Don't know what speaker. U think detnator can outperform Atol?
Do you have any of your creation that can eliminate my fever here? Been 3 days now lying on bed not doing any thing....:(

Det'nator outperforming the Atoll?
Can't say.. it's all subjective you know.. sonically. It is more of system balance. Last I heard of MDZ's system it was well balanced. Made possible by the Atoll and that Tablet combination. I have yet to test D'Bomb with it. Why are you comparing the Det'nator with the Atoll? You liked the Atoll?
Oops NOt Tablet, but ProAc... was thinking about the Tablet.. the apeakers!

The ProAc was quite recently.. tak sampai sebulan kot.. abt 20 years old.. but the saound, wow! Better, in the sensed that it partnered well with the Atoll. British speakers at its best!
